"Itadakimas"

My favorite Japanese word said before a meal that means "I will humbly receive food and am grateful for the ingredients and the person who made it." It is a word full of love and that is what I hope fills my kitchen - the joy of eating and cooking!

Hi! こんにちは!

I'm Lina! I'm a Japanese girl born and raised in Colorado. Growing up in a city that didn't have many Asian food grocery stores or restaurants, the best Japanese food was made by my mom in our kitchen and the recipes have been passed down to me -- and now to you! I'm so glad you're here and I hope my recipes and guides can add a little bit of Japanese fusion and color into some of your food! Itadakimas!
